Banana Oatmeal Cookies

These banana oatmeal cookies combine rolled oats, almond flour, applesauce, and dark chocolate chips. They make an easy batch of about 16 cookies.

Banana oatmeal cookies with dark chocolate chips

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the bananas, oats, almond flour, applesauce, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet and flatten them slightly. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden.
  4. Cool briefly on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
