Lemon Water


Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning with half a fresh squeezed lime in it. If you find this too high in acidity then simply add more water to dilute or lower the amount of lemon. Alternatively, you can use an orange instead.

Lemons contain minerals such as Vitamin A and B6 and potassium which promote a healthy digestion, alleviates heartburn and stimulates a healthy bowel function. Try drinking a cup of lemon water first thing in the morning! This could ease bloating, gas and constipation.

Toxins enter the body no matter what; it’s what we can do to help reduce and potentially remove completely away from our bodies. Lemons have the power to fight those toxins as well as assisting the liver in cleansing the body from any damaging harm.

Drinking lemon water on a regular basis in fact does reduce inflammation in the body! Specifically, it reduces uric acid in the joints, which is one of the main causes of inflammation. So drinking your lemon water eases any joint pain or stiffness - drink up!

5. Lowers blood pressure

One of the many benefits of lemons are the vitamins and minerals seeped into it. Potassium is an excellent source that can regulate blood pressure and maintain heart health. It reduces the risk factor of strokes, heart attacks, anxiety and depression.
