Q: What style of training is used in your fitness program?
A: GS has simple and effective workouts for all levels. We use a combination of bodybuilding, functional lifting mixed with High-Intensity Interval Training (HITT).
Q: What are the 5 types of workouts?
A: We have 5 awesome workouts for whatever your fitness needs are!
GS20 | BODYWEIGHT You'll get bodyweight high-energy conditioning training. Combines body weight, running-jumping-lunging, for each workout. These workouts will improve your conditioning regardless of skill level and can be performed nearly anywhere with no equipment. GS20 Workouts typically last anywhere from 10-15 minutes and always incorporate simple yet effective movements. This program is perfect if you are focusing on your conditioning, need a quick workout, just getting started, or are always on the go.
GS30 | DUMBBELLS & KETTLEBELLS Have little time and limited equipment? Our exclusive Dumbbell & Kettlebell-only program is for you! GS30 Workouts typically last anywhere from 20–30 minutes and are specifically designed to be performed with limited equipment and limited space. You'll get a mix of full-body, push x pull, and sprint x sweat formats to deliver the perfect burn!
GS60 | A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING An incredibly diverse program, you will have all of your bases covered. This program will help you be prepared for everything and anything. GS60 Workouts are designed on a 60-minute timeline and require access to a fully functional fitness gym. Movements will include everything from cardio and gymnastics to powerlifting and Olympic lifting. This is functional training at its finest -- GS60 is all about being well-rounded and preparing for whatever life throws your way.
GS60+ | COMPETITOR'S TRACK Become faster, stronger, better conditioned, better skilled, and better prepared. GS60+ workouts are designed to be completed in a 60-75 minute window and require access to a fully functional fitness gym.** A carefully balanced combination of conditioning, gymnastic skill development, and strength training for the competitor. This competitive programming track is designed by our very own Lauren Fisher, a multi-year professional CrossFit Games Competitor. She has the inside scoop and will share all she's learned in her career. GS60+ produces a well-rounded and well-prepared athlete, ready to tackle an advanced lifestyle at any time during the year.
GSOLY | OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING Because who doesn't love lifting all the weights! Want to develop more strength and better technique within the two Olympic weightlifting movements, Snatch and Clean & Jerk? GSOLY Workouts typically last anywhere from 30-45 minutes and are specifically designed for all skill levels. GSOLY workouts are based on percentages, so anyone from beginner to intermediate will benefit greatly from this program.
Q: How many different workout options do I get to choose from?
A: On workout days, you can choose to follow 1 of 5 different workouts, each requiring different amounts of time, energy, and equipment. 20 workouts, 5 workout days, and 2 rest days. Whatever you choose, we are here to help you crush your goals!
Q: Will I get access to Lauren Fisher for extra coaching help?
A: You sure will! Grown Strong founder Lauren Fisher offers coaching help within the private FB community. While Lauren's competitive insight is extremely valuable, her main goal is to help her community thrive and achieve their own goals and dreams.
Q: What if I need help with my nutrition?
A: Nutrition is so important yet can be so confusing. Not to worry! We have an awesome in-house nutritionist Jenn Ryan who can answer all your nutrition questions. We also have an amazing chef, Amy Tran, who has developed delicious recipes for you to try!
Q: Do you include any mobility work and warm-ups?
A: We have stretching guidelines and exercise flows. You will have access to awesome warm-ups. They are linked in the daily workouts under our video briefs.
