How did you get so good at cooking? We want to hear all the deets on how you started!
I've always loved cooking for my friends and family. Practice and an overall obsession with food are how I got to my skill level today. Really, I guess I've just been lucky to have people around me who never say "no" to trying food. :)

What is your favorite recipe to cook and why?
Anything Vietnamese! Specifically, thit kho; it reminds me of my childhood!
-
What does Grown Strong mean to you?
To me, it means being a badass and supporting other badasses. Striving for the best version of yourself and encouraging others around you.

What’s an experience that made you who you are today?
When I turned 18, I decided to move to San Diego. I found CrossFit and a newfound love for health and fitness. This changed my entire lifestyle and really helped shape my adult self. Not only that, but it also helped form some of the closest relationships I have to this day with some really cool people who share similar interests and goals.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That's a tough question! My number one choice would have to be pho. Close runner-ups would be burritos and hot dogs (LOL, I don't know why, but it's just the truth).

If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Always take a leap of faith in yourself. You'll never know the limits of what you can achieve unless you try.
Now that you know a little more about the mastermind behind these healthy dishes, you should RUN, don’t walk, to the grocery store and get cooking!
